With more than 35 years of institutional knowledge on scenic issues that affect the state’s visual environment, Scenic Texas often presents on the city, county, and state level. These education forums are offered to local government attorneys, city planners, elected officials, and other stakeholders interested in the laws and policies that shape our scenic character. Additionally, Scenic Texas presents at conferences around the state on the Scenic City Certification Program and the best practices acquired through the analyzation of more than 5,000 ordinances. Partners and presentations have included the Texas Municipal League, the Texas City Attorneys Association, the Texas Conference of Urban Counties, the Texas Association of Counties, Association of Rural Communities in Texas, Keep Texas Beautiful, America Planning Association Texas chapter, and the University of Texas.
